James S. Dorcely is an entrepreneur, real estate investor, and finance professional with more than 19 years of experience. 

Mr. Dorcely entered banking and finance as an Investment Banker on Wall Street. In 2001, he transitioned into the real estate financing and lending industry when he began working for The Bank of New York. Mr. Dorcely quickly built a name for himself as an industry leader and became a standard for excellence amongst his peers. Subsequently, Mr. Dorcely has managed Lending Divisions at, Citibank, JP Morgan Chase and Bank of America.
Mr. Dorcely has many years of experience in the planning, development, and financing of affordable, market rate housing as well as retail & commercial properties. He was amongst some of the first bankers that were able to finance new condominiums in Harlem’s revitalization and housing boom of the early 2000s. Mr. Dorcely brings with him a substantial network of high net-worth investors, relationships with municipalities across the Northeast Region, general contractors, engineers, architects, as well as other financing institutions. Mr. Dorcely and his partners currently own and manage a real estate multifamily portfolio of 330 units value over $60 million dollars.
